Great question! I always wanted a job where I could do something to help people and I think engineering has given me the chance to do this. I like getting to work with patients in the hospital and trying to find solutions to improve in their care.

I hope that my ideas get out there and someone will be interested in continuing my work. The more people work on certain ideas, the more progress can be made in shorter time

I think it would be awesome to be able to change a million lives with the work I do over my lifetime – I think that is a goal of mine. My current work is very early stage so it will take a long time for it to make a difference in the world – however in the next few years I may be able to apply the ideas to animals and improve their lives with new bones which would be very exciting!

I hope my work does get of the ground and helps people that is the ultimate goal. it would make peoples lives less painful and that would be a great thing.
