I was initially inspired when my brother broke his bones in his leg while playing football and had a cast all the way up to his thigh. But the fascination really kicked in when my younger sister kept breaking her bones, first her right and then left arm and straining her ankles. it was weird amazing that bones could heal and repair and after that I starting looking into the human body.

I then began watching Paralympics Olympics and was so taken by the prosthetics that’s what determined me wanting to do medical engineering.
