      Hi Art and Níamh,

My job can be hard when I have lots of questions I want answers to and I can’t even think about where to look for the answers, but then when you find the answer it feels really good because you worked hard for it. I don’t think I have days where I truly regret picking my job although when I see people working outside on a sunny day I am sometime jealous.

      Best wishes,
      Sophie

I never regret what I do. It does not mean that I will never change. I may eventually start doing something else if it will be interesting and hard enough

Yes, last year when it took me 6 months to get my polymerisation method working i had days I would came home and regret doing post graduate research. But i find this is normal and everyone i have talked to said at some point in their research they have gone through this. Its continuing and enjoying it thats important and since then thats what i have been doing.

Yeah definitely some days when I’m super busy are a bit stressed I think I would have liked to do something else a bit easier but most of the time I’m happy to do what I do. It’s never really boring!
