Honestly, my research so far has not helped anyone yet. It’s still in early development and will take a few years, but if things proceed according to schedule I will be doing some physical testing in a few months.

Slight tangent but related: A year before I joined, my research group was approached by a family to make a hand for their child. Along with the Royal National Orthopeadic Hosptical, a modified robohand was made specifically for that child.

      Hi
My personal research and not helped anyone directly yet, but my research group developed a system to create porous implants that has revolutionised orthopaedic surgery – my work is expanding on that so hopefully I can make a difference too!

Some parts of my research have been used in other research projects. I hope that it was helpful to them. Personally, I have not helped anyone personally yet as my research is not available commercially yet

The aim of my work is to help as many people as possible. I hope the sleep apnoea device I’m working on will help lots of children who have the condition and hopefully help doctors make the descision for the best method of treatment.
