In science, I have always admired a guy called Stephen Jay Gould. He was an evolutionary biologist from the USA, and was a brilliant writer. He made complicated science easy for me to understand, and certainly inspired me to want to become a researcher.
In work, I attended University with a person who has a number of pretty severe disabilities. They made working for a degree pretty difficult for him, but to his credit he worked harder than anyone I’ve ever met, plus he was a really cool guy. He reminded me how lucky I am to not have such issues and was a real inspiration.
In life, my Mum. She’s sacrificed so much for my sister and me, and I appreciate her more all the time.

My dad because he showed me motivation, and dedication can get you far in life and always strive for greatness because it is within us all.

So many people! I am inspired by enthusiatic and energetic people, especially those who are passionate about what they do. My physics teacher at high school inspired me to choose a career in engineering and I’m very thankful for her!
